Reading:
Children can document their reading by pressing here. We expect children to update their digital reading record once or twice a week and discuss what they are reading during lessons. Children have autonomy to change their colour band and library book on a regular basis thus promoting choice and independence.

Homework:
- Tuesday: Spellings received - tested the following Tuesday
- Friday: Grammar & Maths homework set on LBQ - to be completed by Tuesday
Reading Record: Updated at least 1-2 times per week
Foundation: Occasional homework projects in DT and other foundation subjects - completed via Google Classroom.
PE
Pupils require their PE kit in school on Wednesday and Friday.
- Indoor kit: white t-shirt, black shorts, black trainers
- Outdoor kit: black tracksuit top, white t-shirt, black jogging bottoms, suitable outdoor trainers
Pupils will go swimming after May half-term and will require a swimming cap.
Boys should wear trunks or swimming shorts whilst swimming tops are optional.
Girls should wear a one-piece swimsuit or modest swimwear.
Goggles may be worn.

- Please support your child each weekend with their homework by ensuring they complete their Learning By Question (LBQ)
- Each week, PowerPoints that support your child's writing and mathematics will be uploaded to https://classroom.google.com in order to allow pre-learning to occur.

Pupils working below the level of the national curriculum
Pupils working below the standards of the national curriculum in one or more subjects may be assessed under an alternative teacher assessment – either the:
- pre-key stage standards, if they are engaged in subject-specific study
- engagement model, if they are not engaged in subject-specific study
