Named after Artemis, the Greek goddess of nature, the wilderness and the protector of young children, our Artemis provision provides a nurturing, inclusive and carefully structured morning learning environment for our younger pupils with additional needs. Our semi-formal approach recognises that every child develops at their own pace, offering personalised learning experiences that prioritise communication, emotional regulation, social interaction, independence and early learning skills. Through purposeful play, sensory exploration, practical activities and opportunities to connect with the natural world, we create a safe and stimulating environment where children feel secure, develop confidence and experience success. Just as Artemis symbolises protection and a connection with nature, our provision embraces each child's individuality, nurturing their strengths and empowering them to grow, flourish and develop a lifelong love of learning.
