The Friends of Beam PTA is a vibrant group of parents, carers, and staff who work together to make school life even more exciting and enriching for every child at Beam County Primary School. From fun events to essential fundraising, our PTA plays a vital role in enhancing learning and strengthening our school community.

We Are Looking for New PTA Members!
Membership is open to all parents and carers of children currently attending the school, as well as selected/required staff members. Everyone is welcome, and everyone has a voice.
We are currently seeking volunteers to join our PTA committee, including:
2 Chairpeople (filled)
Our PTA is proudly led by two Chairpersons: Maryellen and Hayley, who work together to organise activities and ensure our aims are met. This shared role provides great support, flexibility, and teamwork.
1 Secretary (vacant)
Help keep our community informed by recording meeting minutes and ensuring updates are shared on the PTA website and other digital platforms.
1 Treasurer (vacant)
Oversee PTA accounts, fundraising totals, and financial records to make sure every penny goes where it counts most—towards enriching our children's education.
Additional Roles
We also welcome staff representatives and other helpers who support events, communications, and day-to-day PTA activities.
What We Do
The Friends of Beam PTA organise a wide range of school events throughout the year—bringing families together, creating memorable experiences, and raising valuable funds for resources and opportunities that directly benefit pupils. Everything we do supports the PTA’s core aims of promoting communication between parents and teachers and advancing the education of all children at Beam.
